Year 6 camp conclusion

The camp was exciting. Although I felt nervous about being away from home and staying the nights at camp without mum. I felt proud of myself. I had achieved my personal challenge. I'd like to go back some other time and face a new challenge completing the low ropes course

Room 10 and 11

This is the story I wrote about Room 10 and 11

WALT: Learn to perswade people.

In my school there are 2 class rooms that are being demolished Room 11 and Room 10. Last year I was in Room 10. I had one of the most best teacher ever Mrs Cameron, she was really nice and kind and so were my class mates. I want to keep Rooms 10 and 11 because I have very good memorys there it would be a waste to dimolish them. But the trucks have come and they are dimolishing the class rooms as we speak.  

Year 6 camp

This is my story about year 6 camp

I’m nervous, my mum and me are driving to school to go to camp. We get to school,we bring our stuff to rooms 18 and 19. Me and my BFF Michael go and play on the senior playground with some others and play.Mrs Fearons whistle blows right when we get up there so we had to come down. Mrs Fearon calls the roll then she tells us who’s in which car were going in. I went in a car with Ivan, Olivia and Jessie, with my mum driving. My favourite part of camp was the water slide! It was fun to go down on your own because you spun really fast!

My worst part of camp was orienteering. it was really boring to me. It took me a long time to find everything.

On the last day of camp we walked up a big hill.

Renne was the fastest girl to get up so she was queen of the mountain. Kayden and Jerico were the fastest boys so they were king of the mountain.

After that we had rolls for lunch and went home.

We did a survey about who’s the tallest and shortest in our class.  We measured everyone and recorded their height. We then made graphs to show our data.

This is what we discovered.

NB was the tallest in this group.CG is the shortest. NB is about 154 cm tall. CG is about 128 tall.

 NB is about 26 cm taller than CG. I think OF an IF are about the same height.

Flag LET'S KEEP THE FLAG

There has been a lot of fighting over the NZ flag,should we have a new one or keep the old. Before I tell you what I think I’ll show you the two flags we are fighting over.

Anyway I think we should keep the old flag and I now what your thinking the new flag may look better but there are very special people out there who are related to men who fought in the army, and they have there name under that flag saying they fought for it!

So taking that away from there family would just be sad. SO LET’S KEEP THE FLAG!!!!
